They give you an aesthetic proposal, furniture plans, material palette and procure the furniture. Construction is run by your builder with no design coordination. The result depends on how each trade interprets the moodboard.

We serve the entire Costa del Sol from our Málaga Studio, with project manager and team on site throughout construction. It is not an independent physical Studio in Marbella, but the operational presence on site is continuous: weekly visits, not monthly.
If your construction is fully drawn and you only need furniture and styling, a local decorator may be enough. If you are doing a full renovation —partitions, installations, bathrooms, kitchen, joinery— you need a studio that designs and supervises, not only decorates. The difference shows in cost overruns and delays.
Between €2,500 and €4,500/m² of construction at high-end level, and from €4,500/m² in ultra-luxe. An 800 m² villa in La Zagaleta typically means between €2M and €4M of execution alone, plus fees and furniture.
