Bespoke luxury kitchens

A high-end kitchen is not a kitchen with expensive appliances. It is a space designed to the millimetre for how you cook, how you live and how you host.

At Lobo Interiors we design complete kitchens —layout, cabinetry, materials, lighting, appliances— and produce them with trusted cabinetmakers. The result is a kitchen that works exactly as you need and ages with the same dignity as a noble piece of furniture.

What sets us apart from a catalogue kitchen

Some kitchens are bought. Ours are designed. The difference is not only aesthetic: a catalogue kitchen starts from standard modules within preset dimensions. A bespoke kitchen starts from your real space, your way of cooking and your habits, and every centimetre is designed accordingly.

Layout designed for you

We don't place modules: we design functional zones (storage, prep, cooking, washing, service) according to how you actually use them. Every element has a reason.

Cabinetmaker-grade fabrication

Our craftsmen build each piece in the workshop with noble timbers, premium veneers and finishes the industry doesn't offer. Solid edges, finished interiors, tolerances under 2 mm.

Materials you won't find in a conventional showroom

Calacatta marble worktops cut from a single block, smoked oak fronts with continuous grain, hand-forged solid brass handles, artisan zellige splashbacks.

No brand intermediaries

We are not distributors of any kitchen or appliance brand. We design with full freedom and recommend whatever works best for your project.

How we design your kitchen

1. Understanding how you cook

Before drawing a single piece: do you cook daily or on weekends? Alone or with company? What kind of cooking? Are kids in the kitchen? Do guests stay with you while you cook? The answers shape layout, storage, appliance position, type of island and relationship with the living area.

2. Integral design

Detailed layout drawings, elevations of every cabinetry run, construction details for unique pieces, lighting plan, material selection with physical samples and appliance-by-appliance specification.

3. Artisan fabrication

Each cabinet is built in the workshop by our cabinetmakers. Production lead time: 8 to 14 weeks depending on complexity. Each piece is checked before leaving the workshop.

4. Installation and fine-tuning

On-site assembly coordinated with the rest of the trades. Fine adjustment of every door, every drawer, every material join. Installing a high-end kitchen typically takes 3 to 5 days.

Materials we use

Worktops

Natural stone (Calacatta marble, Statuario, Verde Alpi, travertine, granite), premium quartz and large-format sintered porcelain. Each material brings a different atmosphere and different maintenance requirements.

Cabinet fronts

Solid wood and quality veneers (oak, walnut, ash) with open-grain varnish, matte and satin lacquers, and textured finishes such as fluted ash or brushed oak.

Hardware and handles

Solid brass, bronze or stainless steel handles. Soft-close hinges by Blum, Hettich or Grass. Full-extension drawers with heavy-load runners. Push-to-open systems for handle-free fronts.

What we recommend (and what we don't)

We don't sell appliances: we specify them according to your project. These are the brands and pieces we most often recommend.

Worth the investment

High-end induction hob (Miele, Gaggenau, Bora). Multifunction oven with probe. Powerful, silent extraction, critical in open kitchens. 60 cm high-end dishwasher. Quality tap with high spout and pull-out spray.

What we often advise against

Plate warmer drawers (almost no one uses them). Built-in coffee machines (they become obsolete before the rest of the kitchen). Standalone steam ovens (a multifunction with steam mode is better).

When yes and when no

The island is the most desired and the most oversized element. A well-designed island transforms the kitchen; a forced one ruins it.

Yes to the island when

Side aisles allow at least 110-120 cm clearance. Useful depth is at least 90 cm (120 cm if it integrates a hob or sink). It adds real function: prep, cooking, breakfast or service.

No to the island when

The kitchen is under 15 m² and the island chokes the flow. It is added only for aesthetics, with no defined function. The geometry of the space works better as an L or U layout.

Indicative investment

The budget for a bespoke high-end kitchen depends on size, materials and appliances. These ranges correspond to kitchens between 12 and 30 m². In the first conversation we give a more accurate estimate for your specific space.

Frequently asked questions

How much does a bespoke luxury kitchen cost in Barcelona?

A complete high-end bespoke kitchen ranges from €40,000 to €120,000 including cabinetry, worktop, appliances, taps and lighting. Bespoke cabinetry accounts for most of it (€25,000 – €70,000). The exact figure depends on square metres, front and worktop materials and the appliance range.

How long does a bespoke kitchen project take?

Between 14 and 20 weeks from signature: 3-4 weeks of design and material selection, 8-10 weeks of workshop production and 2-3 weeks of installation and fine-tuning. When the kitchen is part of a full renovation, it is synchronised with the rest of the works.

What is the difference between a bespoke and a catalogue kitchen?

A catalogue kitchen starts from standard modules and adapts your space to the furniture. A bespoke kitchen starts from your space and your habits: worktop heights calculated for your build, real depths, no filler panels, and hardware chosen for durability rather than list price.

Is a kitchen island worth it?

Yes when the kitchen exceeds 15 m², there are 110-120 cm of clear circulation on each side and the island has a defined function (prep, cooking, breakfast). No when it is purely aesthetic: in narrow spaces an L or U layout performs better.

Which worktop best withstands daily use?

Large-format porcelain is the most resistant to stains, heat and scratching and needs no sealing. Granite and quartzite offer natural hardness with unique veining. Marble is the most beautiful and the most delicate: it ages with patina, which you must accept before choosing it.

Do you also handle installation and appliances?

Yes. We hand over a working kitchen: production, installation, plumbing and electrical coordination, appliance supply and fitting, technical lighting and final review. One single point of contact from start to finish.
