The difference from a synthetic finish is not visible on the first visit — it shows in year seven: solid oak is sanded and reborn, laminate is replaced.

We work with suppliers who document origin and treatment, because a natural material sealed with a high-emission varnish is no longer a healthy decision.

How much does natural stone cost in a home?

Between €180 and €450 per m² supplied and installed, depending on material, thickness and slab layout. Large-format marble and travertine sit at the top of the range.

How long does a solid wood floor last?

A well-maintained solid oak floor lasts 40 to 60 years because it can be sanded three to five times; laminate is replaced after 10-15 years.

Do natural materials need a lot of maintenance?

Porous stone is resealed every 12-24 months and wood is oiled once a year. In exchange, they are repaired rather than replaced.
